Flamingo Challenge

Found a great new site:
One by One the Flamingos are Stealing My Insanity (whew, that's a mouth full, lol) is having a Jan challenge, along with looking for new DTs. I thought I would participate and try out.

Challenge: For this month, make a creation of any kind that features a Flamingo.

Here is what I did...  I used Life's a Beach and Learning Curve carts. I also used pink vellum, never used the stuff before.  I have to admit, I like it better when I'm holding the card closed.  The saying shows up better.  Still I'm pretty pleased with it :)

If you would, could you stop by and give a vote for my card?  Thanks!

Joy Card Challenge

For my challenge this month, I want you to make a Joy Fold card. They are very easy and have become my favorite card fold right now! You can find the tutorial HERE

Visit Creative Scrapbooking Divas  to post your creation under Joy Card Challenge in the events forum.  You have until midnight 1-31 to get it done :)

For this card, I decided to go with a 5.25x 5.25  But you can do any size.  And if you use a Cricut cut anywhere on the card, you get a second entry for a small rak.   I used Accent Essential for my circle and scallop flower.

Valentines- last year rewind

I made a couple of cut files (svg/scut) last year and though I would post them again for anyone, who just got their new Sure Cuts A Lot aka SCAL this past year.  Here are a couple of them...

To download these, just click on Free SVG/SCUT files.    And don't forget about the upcoming CSDivas Valentine BLOG HOP!
This is open to the Design Team AND members.  If you would like to participate or want more info, just leave a comment or Email me.

BINGO V-day Card

Taking a break from blue and white Xmas cards and jumping to red and white Valentine ones, lol. Here is a card I made for Card Cupids. They are having a Valentine’s Card Blog Candy Challenge
I scraplifted this from a fellow cropper at the ScrapBook Blessings Club.  Very easy to do...
I got an image of a bingo card off the computer ( you can also use a real card but I used my last one prior- great find a garage sales),
Printed out I Luv You  (cut the same size as the blocks),
Taped 3 circle punches is black to the words
Used hot pink card stock ( 4.25 x 5.5 card),
Matted in black card stock
Set the pink bling with the I-Rock setter,
Glued a pre-made heart cut out,
Fastened the black ribbon to the heart,
And made the zig zags with my white gel pen.

Very Easy, Very fast and too cute!

Next year's Xmas card

I was so behind in 2010 making my Xmas cards, I swore never again.  This challenge gave me a great excuse to start for 2011, and I am happy to say I have 5 already done this past week!!!!

Challenge #41 Snowy Delights: Create a project and incorporate snow or snowflakes.
Christmas solutions- Deer, Tree, Star Zooballoo- Snow scene The inside Here is 2010 Christmas card
I only did 10 of these cards because I ran out of time.  I'm already ahead of the game for 2011, lol.

Upcoming hop!

This is open to all CSDiva members.  If you interested just pm DT Diva Luisa on the board.  Very excited to have all the divas in on this!!!
