For my project, I needed to come up with a way to get all three kiddos (ages 8, 6 and 5) up and ready in the mornings.  So, I decided to go with an altered dry erase fridge board.

The kiddos have to place their pieces in the right square, if they do, then when they get home, they are allowed to put the tv on for half an hr and have a snack before starting home work.  And believe me this is BIG at our house (you think these kids starved all day!!!)

 Now, most of these they can do like get dressed and brush their teeth, some they need help with like the combing hair one. If the girls bring me the brush and ribbons for me to get their hair done without me begging then that counts.  So, no matter what age the kids are, you can adapt their morning routine.

To make this board more like "their board", I let them pick out what shapes they wanted to have. Unicorn is from Paper Doll Dress Up, Baseballs are from Sports Mania and the butterflies are from Gypsy Wanderings, all cut at 1- 1.25". (oh and the bus/A+ is for special days like field trips and tests). School Days is from the George basic shape cart. All the cuts have magnets on the back of them so they stick to both the fridge and the board.

This is my second board that I have done. The first is one that I made using Designers Calendar and that was more for me when they were younger and in preschool.  This one is to be more interactive. I think I am going to Modge Pog the cut outs so they hold up better.

Hope this gives you a little inspiration especially for those hectic mornings.

So if you haven't got it yet, this month's flavor is BIRTHDAYS! Here are my 4 cards that I did using the   which includes all 4 stamps, papers sets and various coordinating embellishments. All you need for this kit is adhesive, your paper trimmer and stamp ink/ coloring medium for the cute stamps.
