Fun Friday PL

Hello Everyone, and Happy Friday!!! Im so excited to be sharing a layout I actually had time to make lol. I have to say I truly enjoy the concept of Project Life, we all get so busy with work and family that we tend to put our craftiness to the side. Yup I became one of those as soon as I landed my dream job and I completely put all my scrapbook to the side . I remember I use to make elaborate layouts that would take me days if not weeks to put together and when I finally decided to try Project Life I was like WOOHOO!! and now as soon as I get a chance I print out my pictures and put together a layout in less than an hour (sometimes lol). I have come to the realization that my layouts don't have to be elaborate in order to be nice, its the memories that are captured and the journaling. So ladies here is my Fun Friday layout. Simple Easy Fun

For this layout I used Coral PL kit, my cute little Tin Pin is by October Afternoon (Daily Flash)

Christmas in July Scrapbook LO - Traditional

Using the title, Decorating the Tree from the Creative Pointe Holiday Titles, I created a one-page layout of decorating both outside and inside Christmas trees for Christmas 2014.
The frame is created by Sheila Reid over at Pixelscrapper Digital Scrapbooking; and the tag is from misskatecuttables as a daily free file offered a few weeks ago.  I located the font and printed on top mat of the tag.

July Challenge Reminder

Hey kids!  I'm sharing my July challenge project today.  This month the theme is watercolor.  You can create a watercolor background, use watercolor techniques to color an image, or anything you'd like to create using a watercolor effect.  Our sponsor for July isDeeDee Digis

I created the watercolor background.  It was pretty fun to play with the mists and water :-)  I found that cardstock wrinkled up pretty good.  Even tried a thicker cardstock -nope.  So, if you have watercolor paper I think that is your best bet.  I used Gloss paper by Ranger :-)  Love the effect I ended up with!!

Recipe:
Ranger Gloss paper
Glimmer Mists: lemon Zest, Iridescent Gold, Candy Apple Red
DeeDee Digis - Ladybug Hugs
red wire
Glossy Accents - ladybug spots
Black bling
pop dots

Thanks for stopping by today :-)  Come and play along with this fun challenge!  Link up is here.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY

Hi everyone, this is Sandy from Scrapbook Blessings Club, and I have today's guest post for  Making Our Life Matter. So let's jump right in!
I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July no matter where you are in the world.  We have fun with parades, picnics, fireworks...the whole sha-bang. So in honor of the 4th, I made this cute rosette decoration for the holiday...
You have probably seen those cute little triangle party banners for holidays and birthdays.  I wanted something different from the normal banner that I usually hang for all the holidays. This projects is an alternative take on those banners.

I usually hang my banners on the fireplace, so instead of just one long banners, I went with 3 large rosettes. Here is an up close look...
The letters were cut from the Cricut Die Cutting Machine using Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.  The letter size is at 3.75" and I used Ranger's Stickles glitter glue to give them some bling.  You can kinda sorta see it on the "A".
