Scrapbook Room Shut Down!

Teresa here from Fresh and Renewed....I don't have a card or anything for you today other than a few pictures to show why my crafting had to come to a screeching halt this week.

We are in the process of getting the entire inside of my house painted and although I had asked the painter to start in my scrapbook room there was a little glitch and he had to work in several stages....you see once upon a time I had high wall shelving up on the walls in my scrapbook room...the kind that is on tracking...then I decided to repaint the room and did not take the shelving down...fast forward to last year when I decided I totally needed to declutter that room and create a more inviting and tranquil space. I took the shelving down which created these stripes on the wall revealing the old paint job! I have stared at that for the last year and finally with our tax return money we decided to get the house painted (which thankfully included my scrapbook room)

Well, the painter was just going to sand a bit and then paint over the stripes area patching (without painting the entire wall) mainly cause I did not want to loose the red wall....but after several tests just could not get it to look right....so here comes my son to the rescue....(after his dad asked him could he step in and help). He sanded, mudded, and retextured the wall so the painter can come in and repaint those two walls...I decided to just have the red wall down in white to match the other two walls and bring the color into the room with the accents and decor.

So, here are the photos of a craft room shut down!
