Hi everyone! So for this month we are doing a fun ok, a little frustrating, stinky technique, lol. Yep, forget about getting your socks bright white and pull out some cardstock instead!!!!

We are talking Bleach! I would love to know who thought this would be a great idea and how many brain cells did they kill, lol?!?! On the up side, my craft desk smell disinfected, lol!

Okay, my BIGGEST TIP... use some test pieces to see what the bleach will do to your cardstock!!! Here are a couple that I was just playing around with and decided to take a pic to show you.

So now that you practiced, lets get to making some cute cards!!!
I used a stencil for these 2 cards. As you can see, the cardstock reacted a little different to the bleach. I really like how distressed they came out.
This one reminds me of tire tracks. How cute would that be for a truck card?!

This last one was done with a stamp. "Paint" your stamp with bleach and press down, Go back and fill in with a paint brush to get the desired look.

OK, that is it for me, until next time....

Now you’re off to visit with Jodie.
Hope you had fun and thanks for stopping by. See you next month with another technique!

Here’s the full line-up in case you get lost:

  1. I never thought of some of the ways you tried bleach. Clever and creative! And your cards are wonderful. So fun hopping with you!

  2. Love your idea of using that for a truck card, and so amazing how different the two looks are on those first two cards. Great cards, and always great to hop with you.

  3. cute cards!! Thank you for hopping along with us!!

  4. Great cards! I never thought about using stencils. I totally agree with testing the card stock first. That is the lesson I learned too.

  5. Wow. All the designs are impressive that will help me to have a new year in a unique way.
